Review of "Denise Austin: Shape Up and Shed Pounds" streaming workout and DVD, Part 2

This is part 2 of my review of "Denise Austin: Shape Up and Shed Pounds" streaming workout and DVD.

I have an Amazon Prime membership - I view it as a gas-saver and time saver. There's much less running around trying to find the obscure thing I need! It will be here in two days, most of the time! I also use it as a companion to our Netflix membership. We have "cut the cord" on cable, and just use Netflix, Amazon Prime Instant Video, and a very good antenna to get our television. On Amazon Prime, there are a few workouts that you can do for free if you have a membership. There aren't a ton, but it is better than it used to be. The selection can change, so this workout might not be free to watch for Amazon Prime members by the time you read this. It does not appear to be on the Lionsgate BeFit YouTube channel right now.

The first part of the streaming video/DVD is around 30 minutes, and is a cardio-type workout. The second part is around 20 minutes, and is toning and stretching.

I have to admit that I was a little bored during this workout. Not because it was easy - it was challenging at times to keep my balance and to stretch a certain way or do repetitions of a certain move. I think if I was doing the whole DVD at once, it would have been a welcome relief to the busy activity of the first part of the DVD. And I usually don't find toning workouts that interesting. But I was watching the clock and wondering when it would be over. The workout was fine enough - there were lunges, hip raises, and many other moves you'll find in a toning/stretching workout. It just wasn't my favorite workout.

I probably won't do this one again. It didn't hold my interest as much as some of the other toning videos I have done.
